Janet Morris

Janet is passionate about education, believing that every child should have a great start in life.  She is delighted to be working with United World Schools and hopes to support the charity with growth in its important mission to give more children a chance to have a good start in life. Janet is Chair of the UWS Remuneration & Nominations Committee.

Janet has spent more than 15 years working in the wider education sector, working both in interim and advisory roles in a number of sub-sectors including EdTech, online schools, higher education, international schools and English language within a global context. Janet is a professional interim manager and has worked in interim leadership roles in over 20 organisations, many in education. Her most relevant permanent role from 2010-2018, was as International Director of Cambridge International Education which provides education programmes to over 10,000 schools around the world. Janet was the Interim Chief Executive of OCR in 2018 during a significant period of change in the assessment sector.
