Andrew joined UWS in September 2021 and leads on the development and delivery of UWS’s institutional donor-funded projects and programmes, whilst also overseeing the organisation’s trusts & foundations portfolio.

Andrew has over a decade of experience in international development and business development in roles ranging from programme design and development through to grant management. As a result, he has worked on projects in countries including Bangladesh, Kenya, Nigeria, DRC, Jordan and Nepal.

Andrew’s first role in the international development sector came at Save the Children UK where he was responsible for project managing high value proposals for UK-government-funded grants and contracts. Immediately prior to working for UWS, Andrew fulfilled a number of roles at the International Rescue Committee over a five-year period, first of all in the programme development team before latterly focusing on build his skills and experience in implementation and grants management. He holds an MA degree in International Relations from Sheffield University.
